Even though El Antiguo neighborhood, where this Koisi Hostel is located, is the oldest part of San Sebastian, where Donostia was founded, curiously nowadays it is its lastest expansion area, its most modern part. Because it was in El Antiguo neighborhood where the first settlement of that once would be Donostia was located, before that King Sancho VIth of Navarre decided to build a wall around that space under Monte Urgull, giving to the new city its Fuero (regional code of law), and consequently, its character of Villa (name given to the cities in the Middle Ages).
El Antiguo is a residencial neighborhood, although the area is crowded with catering and leisure establishments, mainly bars and restaurants. Just five minutes away from here one can find Ondarreta beach, which complements La Concha beach to conform the bay with the latter´s name, and the Old Quarter and the Fishing Port, zones with a lot of traditional character and life, some 400 meters away. Basque Culinary Center, a high performance institution for gastronomy professionals is also close to the hotel.
Koisi Hostel is located 800 meters away from Ondarreta Beach and offers elegant rooms with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a common terrace.
It offers private and shared rooms. Dorm rooms offer capsule type bunk beds and lamps. Some bedrooms include a private bathroom with a shower.
The establishment has a shared lounge and a glazed terrace on the roof, where we will find a bar and restaurant. The restaurant serves traditional pintxos, homemade dishes and various vegetarian options.
