Bodega Berroja produces Txakoli de Bizkaia, a very particular wine to which, in its case, its exceptional birthplace, the heart of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, provides it with a very particular flavor and character.
The property pampers a family winery committed to the search for new flavors.
Bodega Berroja works its own vineyards, on an area of 24 hectares located at an average height of 250 meters above sea level. From this vantage point you can enjoy privileged views that range from the sea to the mountains, a space that will not leave you indifferent.
Here the history of the Busturialdea-Urdaibai region is briefly told, why it was declared a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco and how, those very particular characteristics that adorn it influence the characteristics of the wines that are produced here. Sustainability is one of the pillars of Bodega Berroja’s philosophy.
